OVERVIEW
The Annual Congress of the WAPPP was held from the 14th to 16th June 2021 on a virtual platform, under the theme ‘Next Level PPP’. It successfully brought together over 790 delegates from 64 countries, 126 speakers and 46 main stage sessions in a bid to provide networking opportunities and also to discuss how the implementation of PPPs can be executed for the benefit of all of society’s stakeholders. The discussions portrayed WAPPP’s vision of PPPs as a tool that can foster socio-economic development, aligning with the 17th SDG and taking it a step further than measuring its success by ‘value for money’ to the public treasury.
